The story of Antonio Riva, a shipyard worker leading a mostly quiet life. One day, Emilia informs her father of her intention to get married, making Antonio truly happy as it allows him to fulfill one of his dreams: to provide his daughter with the wedding reception she has always wanted, thanks to the savings he has set aside over the years.
