/ 10 | United States
2023 | Documentary
After a near death experience from a helicopter crash in 2012, Mike Boidy, director of Heart Beat has rediscovered this source of medicine. Music, movement, intentions and community support. This is an authentic story about self discovery, the science of sound, vibration, geometric patterns, rhythms of life, and the healing benefits of music. In a life changing journey, Mike leveraged the power of music to heal his back and completely alleviate his back pain and stiffness, 18 months after his crash and spine surgery. Heart Beat deeply explores the roots of rhythm, and primordial instruments that have been used to create music since the dawn of time.
