Reflejo Narcisa

Narcisa Hirsch (b. 1928) is the mother of experimental film in Argentina. Although her work was born amidst utterly difficult historical circumstances, or maybe for that reason, Hirschs films have constituted a space of freedom and resistance. REFLEJO NARCISA (NARCISA REFLECTION) observes a woman in her last journey, witnessing how this woman looks at herself in her work. Si bien su obra cinematográfica surgió en circunstancias históricas del todo desfavorables, o tal vez por esa misma razón, las películas de Hirsch han sido desde siempre un espacio de libertad y resistencia. REFLEJO NARCISA observa a una mujer en su transcurrir final, atestiguando cómo esa mujer se mira a sí misma en su obra. Será necesario correr el riesgo de ahogarse para conocerse
