Salvacion

The film "Salvacion" takes you into the world of human trafficking. It shows that it is a major illegal business that doesn't discriminate. The only color the human traffickers care about is green, Money! If you meet a purpose, then you have value, and are thus a target. At any given time, at any given place, with any given person you can become a victim. This story takes place in the state of Texas and begins with a group of kids having a fun day at the park on a beautiful Texas day. A teenager named Mary (15) walks through the park to meet up with her sister. Mary is wearing a softball uniform and has just completed a good game. Her uniform bares the intensity of the game as she is covered in sliding dirt. As she sees her sister playing in the smaller playground area, she signals for her to come along so they can begin their walk home. Jenny (10) the younger sister inquiries as to the outcome of the game. They laugh and Joke before deciding to stop and get sno-cones on their way home. Jenny helps her older sister carry her gaming equipment and they playfully begin their stroll. Comfortable with their surroundings as they have traveled this route several times, they have not noticed a dangerous situation developing. All of sudden at a moments notice and without warning a vehicle pulls up and kidnaps the girls. The put up a fight and struggle with their would-be captors, but to no avail. They are overcome and now have been added to the growing number of missing people never again to be seen. They have just become a statistic of human trafficking. The story continues with a group of young friends heading on a vacation for south padre island. They begin their trip on a beautiful sunny day under a clear Texas sky, never once contemplating what their immediate future holds as they will become exposed to a world filled with exploitation and extreme violence. During their journey they stop for gas and stumble across an operation in process. Trafficking. Human Trafficking. One of the young males secretly and discreetly takes pictures of the process as he is stunned by what he has accidently stumbled across. His presence has been noticed by one of the perpetrators and now the race to escape begins. Obtaining valuable evidence that could bring light to the operation and expose the criminal empire, they flee. Time is ticking as their very lives have now come into jeopardy.
